I am testing with the demo version of VMProtect. I set up VS 2019 to generate a map file for a DLL build but VMP says
"File "Filename.map" has an incorrect timestamp and cannot be loaded."
It did actually load once yesterday and I could add functions but has failed several other times and I'm sure that I changed no settings in VS. In order to finish testing I'll need to use the map file to protect a function.
Suggestions? Thanks.
MAP file has incorrect timestamp
Re: MAP file has incorrect timestamp
Could you send us a test example (original EXE+MAP files) that shows your problem?

Re: MAP file has incorrect timestamp
Thanks for the reply. I built a sample DLL to demonstrate the error message but the MAP file imported correctly. I went back to the original file and did another clean rebuild. The map file imported correctly. I rebuilt the DLL and MAP files a couple of more times and there were no errors. I cannot repeat the issue again. I'm not sure what the cause was.
Sorry for the false alarm. I'll continue evaluation.
Thanks for your time.
