"Search" tab

The "Search" tab is used to search the executable file or a certain process in the protected application for watermarks:

• Search in file – search the executable file of the application. Use the "File name" field to select the file to search for watermarks;
• Search in process – search a module of the selected process. After you select the necessary process in the "Process" drop-down list, use the "Module" drop-down list to select the module of this process to search for watermarks.

The watermark search results are shown in the list in the lower part of the dialog box:

• Name – the name of the located watermark;
• Count – the number of copies of the located watermark.

Important:
If an unpacked executable file is searched for watermarks, either of these modes can be used. However, if the executable file is packed, you should search only a running application for watermarks (the "Search in process" mode) since a search in an executable file will bring no results because watermarks, as well as the rest of code and data, are packed and they are unpacked only after the application has been run.
